Scarpa Freedom SL Ski Boot Buckles
Replacement buckles for the first version of the Scarpa Freedom SL ski boot. These buckles fit in the same way as the originals using the provided screw attachment via screw rivets.

Please note that the buckles supplied may differ in colour and style to those pictured. Scarpa produces a couple of variations, but we stock one style to simplify the process. Please do not contact us to source specific colours or styles.
How to identify the correct buckle
Buckles are identified by position: Toe, Instep, Lower Cuff, and Upper Cuff. Scarpa changes the angle of these buckles depending on whether they are for the left or right boot to improve aesthetics and ease of use, so please select the correct side.
What is supplied
The pack includes one buckle and a screw rivet attachment kit, comprising one or two metric screws and one or two metric captive retaining nuts for the inside of the boot.
How to fit the buckle
The rivets holding the buckle are made of steel. Remove them using a steel drill with a diameter of 6 to 8mm to gently drill off the rivet heads. Take care that the drill does not slip or grab the buckle plate. Push the remaining rivet through the shell. Enlarge the existing holes in the boot using a 5mm drill so the captive nuts can be pushed into the shell. Offer the new buckle up to the shell and screw together.
