Replacement Buckles for Scarpa Maestrale RS
These replacement buckles are designed for the first version of the Scarpa Maestrale RS ski touring boot. Please note that while the buckles pictured may look slightly different to the ones on your boots, they are designed to fit in the same way using the provided screw attachment kit.

How to identify the correct buckle
Buckles are categorised as Toe, Instep, Ankle, or Cuff. Scarpa changes the angle of the cuff buckle depending on whether it is for the left or right boot to improve aesthetics and usability, so please select the correct side. Please note that the ankle buckle is not available as it requires removing the cuff from the shell, which is a complex operation requiring specific workshop tools.
What we supply
The pack includes one buckle and a screw rivet attachment kit, comprising metric screws and captive retaining nuts for the inside of the boot.
How to fit the buckle
The original rivets are made of steel. Remove them by using a steel drill (6 to 8mm) to gently drill off the rivet heads. Take care to ensure the drill does not slip or grab the buckle plate. Push the remaining rivet through the shell, then enlarge the existing holes using a 5mm drill so the captive nuts can be inserted. Offer the new buckle to the shell and screw together.
