Holmenkol also feature a series of excellent Wax and Preparation videos on their website.

Swiss company Fritschi manufacture the Diamir range of ski touring bindings. The brand is renowned worldwide and is one of the most versatile bindings on the market. Unlike most other ski touring bindings the Fritschi bindings release consistently with either an alpine or a walking sole. They have the capability of performing to the same standard as any other alpine binding for aggressive piste skiing but then have the capability of quickly changing to a loose heel to allow the ski tourer to walk effortlessly during any ascent.

Fritschi are also the only company in the world to offer a pin binding with a DIN release in the toe with their Vipec and Tecton safety tech pin bindings.

Fritschi are very innovative and are always looking at ways in which to improve their range for both performance and ease of use. They also produce a full range of accessories to compliment the bindings inlcuding crampons, brakes, leashes etc.

To complement our range of touring products we now import Colltex climbing skins and ancillary products. Stock items include synthetic/mohair mix skins, both camlock (with tail tensioner) and classic (without), waxes and glues. We can also supply fully mohair or fully synthetic skins to order if required.

We can fit skins for you in our workshop, but if you’re buying mail order, or want to have a go yourself click the images below for full fitting instructions in .WMV format.
