The Ortovox Free Rider 28 is a flat, close-fitting freeriding backpack that offers unlimited freedom of movement.
The Free Rider 28 fits snugly against the back, acting like a second skin. The flat, elasticated CLASP FLEX BELT provides control in every situation and reliable support, while soft back pads hug the back without restricting the movement of the spine. The interior can be fitted with the CLASP SPINE PROTECTOR, which is certified to motorcycle standards and can be purchased separately.
To adjust the backpack while on the go, it can be quickly compressed using integrated side straps. For steep gullies or walking passages, the backpack includes attachment options for skis, an ice axe, or a rope, alongside a helmet net, emergency card, and hydration system compatibility. All features are stowed away to prevent catching in difficult terrain.
The backpack offers space for climbing skins and ski crampons. Emergency equipment can be kept in a separate safety compartment, while the main compartment is accessible via front or back access.
