The temperature is dropping and winter is getting closer! It’s reaching the point where skiers are thinking of booking their ski trips and buying shiny, new ski gear. It’s also the time we have to forget about the Saturday and Sunday lie in and open the shop at weekends. I’m pleased to announce our first Saturday opening day will be the 10th of October and our first Sunday will be the 1st of November. We will also be a little more flexible on our opening times so if you’re struggling to get to see us in working hours give us a call and we’ll do our best to see you when you finish work. Let’s hope we can put the worst of the pandemic behind us and have a cracking ski season!
We have been making custom insoles now for over 30 years! Our highly trained staff are able to recognise and deal with virtually any foot problem, be it Plantar Fasciitis, Moretons Neuroma or just simply sore feet. We take referrals from Doctors, Physiotherapists, Osteopaths and many more professionals and have the knowledge and equipment to be able to produce insoles to orthotic standards. We don’t charge for a consultation and we make the insoles while you wait, the whole process take less than an hour and you walk out with the insoles in your shoes. To read more about the process follow the link here: https://www.skiequipmentuk.co.uk/insoles/ or give us a call for an appointment.
We are pleased to announce that the shop is now fully open, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. We would however prefer customers to make an appointment for things such as custom insoles, ski boot fitting and ski boot modification. This will enable us to better implement recommended social distancing guidelines. Please bring your own face mask, sanitise your hands on entry and observe directions we have in place in the shop. Many thanks for your continued support, we look forward to seeing you soon.
Because of the Governments Social Distancing guidelines we have reduced class sizes down from 12 to 6, this means places will be in very high demand so we highly recommend you book early to avoid missing out.

Anything Technical corona Virus update from Andy Taylor, owner and director
Firstly, I would like to thank all our customers for your patience and understanding during these very strange and totally unprecedented times.
Both Chris and myself have continued to deal with the day to day running of the business from home and we are still able to answer any queries and fulfil any internet sales although deliveries are only being despatched once a week on a Monday.
The rest of the staff are furloughed until further notice
Following the governments news on Monday that non-essential shops can open for business from June 15th I would like to inform customers of our plans for the coming months.
Like most ski/outdoor shops we are planning to re-open the shop from Monday 6th July.
We will be following the strict government Covid 19 guidelines and expect customers to do the same.
This will be on an appointment only basis initially and we will be concentrating mainly on making custom insoles and fitting ski boots. If you have queries on any other product or service then please call and we can discuss your requirements.
The shop will not be open for normal business
Anyone wishing to book an appointment must ring first to arrange a convenient time. Insoles will be made during a 1 hour appointment and ski boot fitting will cover 2 hours.
Appointments will only be available on certain days and certain times initially, so it’s essential that you call to discuss first.
Once an appointment is booked it is essential that customers obey the following rules.
Please do not attend if your show any Covid 19 symptoms
Please be punctual so that the following customer is not delayed.
Do not arrive in surgical gloves, we will sanitize the front door handle and provide hand gel on entry
Please wear a face covering. We will do the same.
Attend the appointment on your own if possible. If not then with 1 other person only.
Observe our 1 way system on entry and keep to the 2 metre rule
In order to produce insoles or fit ski boots we will need to come in close contact with you- we will endeavour to keep you safe and would appreciate it if you would do the same.
We look forward to seeing you all as soon as possible but in the meantime stay safe
All the Best
Andy and the Anything Technical team
