Training

At Anything Technical Ltd we are the UK industry leaders in the training of both ski and snowboard technicians and boot fitters. We have the backing of most of the major boot and ski brands in the UK as we have been working very closely with most of them for many years.

Our training courses have been running for the last 27 years and in that time we have trained up a few thousand technicians. Many of who have gone on to either work abroad or found employment within the UK snow sports industry. These include attendees from as far afield as the Czech Republic, Canada, USA, France, Austria, Switzerland, Italy and even Hong Kong!

All our courses are designed to give a mixture of theory and practical and are fully certificated. There are 3 separate certificates, 1 for each course, which should help those of you who are looking for employment in either the UK or abroad.

We keep a list of tour operators or retail shops abroad that look for new ski/board technicians on an annual basis. This list is given out to all attendees on day 1.

We are also the UK representatives for both Wintersteiger (the worlds no 1 brand of ski/board repair machinery and workshop products) and Holmenkol (the world’s oldest wax brand). We supply the UK retailers with products from both companies and service the machinery on an annual basis.

We put no age limit on who attends (within reason) so whether you are looking to learn how to maintain your own equipment, wanting to go and work abroad or wanting employment in the snow sports industry within the UK, we run courses that are ideally suited to your needs.

The most popular course is the full 3 day course covering ski/board repair work and boot fitting. However we are willing to cater for individual needs or create a course that is tailor made for a group or organisation. This could include race preparation or waxing to a world cup standard which is above and beyond what is covered in the standard courses.

Although we supply drinks and biscuits throughout the day, it is the responsibility of each individual to organise their own accommodation, breakfast, lunch and evening meals.

We automatically send out a bed and breakfast list to those who book onto any course.
